A new era of The Grand Tour is officially underway.
The series returned to Prime Video on September 4 with six new episodes and an all-new presenting trio: Thomas Holland, James Engelsman and Francis Bourgeois.
Autostrada sat down with the three hosts ahead of the debut to talk about stepping into a franchise so closely associated with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, finding their own chemistry and figuring out what their version of the show should be.
For Holland, the move adds another chapter to a career already built around automotive media. Alongside Engelsman, he co-hosts the hugely popular Throttle House YouTube channel and also writes a regular column for Autostrada, where he brings the same sharp, irreverent take on cars and the culture around them.
Bourgeois arrives from a very different corner of the internet, having built a massive following through his infectious enthusiasm for trains and transport.
The new season sends the trio around the world, including Southern California, Malaysia and Angola, with the sort of ambitious cars, challenges and questionable decisions audiences have come to expect from The Grand Tour.
