Porsche’s newest 911 GT3 variant is a car worth coveting. And thankfully for all the digital daydreamers out there like us, there’s an online configurator that lets you build one exactly how you’d like it.
The 2027 Porsche 911 GT3 S/C is the first GT3 with a fully auto convertible top. It’s got a manual-only transmission connected to the GT3’s 502-HP six-cylinder boxer engine, and borrowed DNA from the 911 S/T such as carbon fiber fenders and doors. Plus plenty of options with which to customize, including a new Street Style Package with graphics and accents designed by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.
You can build out your own ideal Porsche, now including the 2027 Porsche 911 GT3 S/C, with the brand’s model configurator tool here.
And here’s how we’d spec our own Porsche 911 GT3 S/C models.

I love my actual GT3 Touring, so I made this one similar: Forest Green Metallic on tan with silver wheels.
This was the first time you could change the colour from the factory for the lightweight sport bucket seats, so to have those in the exclusive leather is pretty special.
In the ideal “lottery” scenario, I’d continue to beat the miles into my Touring and have this one as the run-to-the-cottage option. With the top down, that 9,000 rpm would light your soul on fire.
And then I’d have to do European Delivery. I’ve been fortunate enough to have done that a few times with friends, but never with my own car.

I drive a lot, so I’m really attached to the interior of my car. And Porsche does such a good job with their interiors. I drive a 911 GTS and it’s like sitting in my living room. And just like the last three cars I bought, I fitted this 911 GT3 S/C with contrast diamond stitching and plenty of carbon fibre.
That Meteor Grey Metallic is a crazy colour. It highlights the lines on the car while keeping it stealth looking. And the burgundy top is a nice contrast that also brings out the wide body. I think the car shows well in these colours.

The Paint to Sample Bahama Yellow has an exotic mustard look I love. Even splashed a bit on the mirrors.
Inside, I kept the cabin relatively standard, except for upgraded seats and some complimentary red contrast stitching. Foldable Lightweight Bucket Seats provide a bit more room for anyone tall like me (6’6”), sitting lower than the 18-way Adaptive and standard Sport 4-way due to fewer electronics and less padding. Anything to get the hips closer to the floor.
And I know it’s just a configurator and I don’t have plans to hit that “Find Porsche Dealer” button anytime soon, but I had to have the Sonderwunsch Delivery in Zuffenhausen. For the experience, it’s imaginary money well spent.
